Agriculture and Human ValuesAgriculture and Human Values is the journal of the Agriculture, Food, and Human Values Society. The Journal, like the Society, is dedicated to an open and free discussion of the values that shape and the structures that underlie current and alternative visions of food and agricultural systems.

AppetiteAppetite is an international research journal specializing in behavioural nutrition and the cultural, sensory, and physiological influences on choices and intakes of foods and drinks. It covers normal and disordered eating and drinking, dietary attitudes and practices and all aspects of the bases of human and animal behaviour toward food.


British Food JournalAfter over 100 years of publication, the British Food Journal (BFJ) continues to be highly respected world-wide for its broad and unique interdisciplinary coverage of food-related research. The journal has a strong commitment to publishing the latest food research from around the globe, all of which is reviewed and adjudicated by an international editorial board of leading experts. With its independent analysis and informed insights, it provides a vital communications link between all sectors of this dynamic industry, keeping the reader abreast of topical issues and emerging trends.


Culture, Agriculture, Food and the Environment (CAFE): The Journal of Culture and AgricultureCAFE is a national peer-reviewed journal published by the Culture & Agriculture Section of the American Anthropological Association (AAA). CAFE publishes position papers, discussions of theoretical developments and methods of inquiry, and results of empirical research on topics concerning agriculture, related policies and practices, and their environmental and human consequences.


Eating BehaviorsEating Behaviors is an international peer-reviewed scientific journal publishing human research on the etiology, prevention, and treatment of obesity, binge eating, and eating disorders in adults and children. Studies related to the promotion of healthy eating patterns to treat or prevent medical conditions (e.g., hypertension, diabetes mellitus, cancer) are also acceptable. Two types of manuscripts are encouraged: (1) Descriptive studies establishing functional relationships between eating behaviors and social, cognitive, environmental, attitudinal, emotional or biochemical factors; (2) Clinical outcome research evaluating the efficacy of prevention or treatment protocols.


Ecology of Food and NutritionEcology of Food and Nutrition is an international journal of food and nutrition in the broadest sense. The journal publishes peer-reviewed articles on all aspects of food and nutrition -- ecological, biological, and cultural. Ecology of Food and Nutrition strives to become a forum for disseminating scholarly information on the holistic and cross-cultural dimensions of the study of food and nutrition. It emphasizes foods and food systems not only in terms of their utilization to satisfy human nutritional needs, but also to promote and contest social and cultural identity. The content scope is thus wide -- articles may focus on the relationship between food and nutrition, food taboos and preferences, ecology and political economy of food, food marketing and transportation, food and identity, agriculture and sustainability, ethnobotany, the evolution of human nutrition and food technology. Questions of the relationship between food/nutrition and culture are as germane to the journal as analyses of the interactions among nutrition and environment, infection, physical fitness, pregnancy, and health. 


Food, Culture, and SocietyFood, Culture and Society: An International Journal of Multidisciplinary Research is an international peer-reviewed publication dedicated to exploring the complex relationships among food, culture, and society from numerous disciplines in the humanities, social sciences, and sciences, as well as in the world of food beyond the academy. It brings to bear the highest standards of research and scholarship on all aspects of food studies and encourages vigorous debate on a wide range of topics.


Food and FoodwaysFood and Foodways is a refereed, interdisciplinary, and international journal devoted to publishing original scholarly articles on the history and culture of human nourishment. By reflecting on the role food plays in human relations, this unique journal explores the powerful but often subtle ways in which food has shaped, and shapes, our lives socially, economically, politically, mentally, nutritionally, and morally. Because food is a pervasive social phenomenon, it cannot be approached by any one discipline. We encourage articles that engage dialogue, debate, and exchange across disciplines.


Food PolicyFood Policy is a multidisciplinary journal publishing original research and critical reviews on issues in the formulation, implementation and analysis of policies for the food sector in developing, transition and advanced economies.
